After many years with the band Joe Warmbrodt is stepping away from his drumming duties at the end of this month. Joe's spirit, enthusiasm and skills will be missed.
Drummer Popcorn Louden has agreed to take over for Joe. Popcorn played drums for Buddy Miles for ten years, toured with Lucky Peterson, Michael Burks and too many others to list here. It's in his DNA as his uncle played guitar for Chicago legend Koko Taylor.
Joe will be utilized on a fill in basis as needed, so he will still be a part of this musical journey and will be a Kingdom Brother for life and eternity!
Joe's last full time show with the band will be this Thursday evening, Jan. 24, at Hammerstones, 8-12. Come out and give Joe a great send off! It's also Ron's birthday!
